Environmental Issues and Solutions

Question: What environmental problems are you aware of in the area where you live? What solutions do you think would be most appropriate to solve these problems? Answer: United States faces several environmental issues and problems most common among them are waste generation, over populations, increase in air and water pollution, and invasion of species and climate changes that cause various problems such as flood, drought, and green house effect. The other environmental issue that the country faces is mercury exposure that causes various health problems (Dunlap Jorgenson, 2012). Government should spread awareness among people and set rules and norms for industries and construction sites to decrease the amount of pollution that they generate.
